Navigating the File Interchange Packages Page

File interchange packages contain the instructions for the exchange of file data. There are two types of packages: export and import.

Prerequisites: You must have the 'File Interchange' function enabled for your role.

The File Interchange Packages page is used to view a list of all the existing packages and perform a few basic actions:

1. Click the Logged in as menu and click Admin Center. Under File Interchange, click the File Interchange Packages link (not shown).
2. Check one or more boxes to activate the action buttons above the table:
   • Open – displays the package details. The File Interchange Package Properties dialog opens.
   • Delete – removes the package from the database.
   • Activate – changes the status of Inactive packages to Active.
   • Deactivate – toggles the status of the selected package(s) to Inactive.
   • Run – creates a new job for the selected package(s). Only packages that are Active can be run.
3. Click the New button to create a new package. The New File Interchange Package Type dialog displays. Select one of the following options and click OK:
   • Export – to convert files to RL-XML (or another format) or send them directly to a partner (page 1).
   • Creating an Import Package (page 1).
