Service Status Center

The Service Status Center page provides a real-time status check of the services used in the RL6 application. To view the status of these services, in the Admin Center, click Service Status Center under the General Settings heading.

Prerequisite: The 'Service Status Center' role function must be enabled.

The Service Status Center page displays the status for each service available in the RL6 application:

• Gateway – The API Gateway service is used for authorization and is therefore critical in order to access Patient Center as well as other services. If the displayed status is Service is down, this means that the service is off or cannot be found. Note: If the Gateway service is down, all other service checks will display in orange with the status: Status unavailable
• Patient Service – The Patient Search service is used to connect the HL7Health Level-7 is an international set of open standards used to format data and content, allowing different health information systems to easily and effectively communicate with one another. data feed to the Patient library. If the displayed status is Service is down, this means that the service is off or cannot be found. If the displayed status is Status unavailable, ensure that the Gateway service is up.
• Patient Experience – The Patient Experience service displays the status of the Patient Experience Surveys tool for RL6:Feedback within the RL6 application. If the displayed status is Service is up, this means that the service is installed and running. If the displayed status is Service is down, this means that the service is off or cannot be found.
• Email Service - The Email Service works alongside your SMTP (email) server to queue and transmit email-based alerts, tasks, and reminders to specified recipients within your organization. See Email Service Status
• Alert Service - The Alert Service works in tandem with the database to create alerts within the application environment. See Alert Service Status.
• Events Service - The EventA patient or employee related occurrence which is recorded in paper or electronic format. Once recorded, an event file is reviewed by a file manager who may involve other individuals (e.g. using tasks and follow-ups features) to help investigate and resolve the event. service processes license notifications, task notifications, patient merges, incomplete file reminders, PeerReview reminders, and RCA action item reminders. • Reports Service - The Reports Service processes reports that are scheduled to run daily or with less frequency (weekly, monthly, …). See Report Service Status
• IntraDay Report Service - The IntraDay Report service reports that are scheduled to run multiple times within a day. See Intraday Report Service Status.
• FIM Service - The FIM Service triggers scheduled file imports and exports. See FIM Service Status
• ETL Service - The core File Interchange service that processes scheduled import/export jobs. Jobs identify what File Interchange module to run (PA-PSRS, etc). See ETL Service Status.
• ETL Acknowledgement Service - The File Interchange Reader service that polls the partner site for responses, copies files, and provides error messages and feedback responses. Note: Due to the nature of the service, it is not applicable for all partners. See ETL Acknowledgement Service Status .
• CSVA Comma Separated Values file. Each row in the file represents a record. When opened in Microsoft Excel®, each value appears in its own cell; when opened in Notepad®, however, the record’s values are separated by commas. Import Service - The RL6 CSV Import Service allows you to import CSV files directly into the database to update lookup (Medication, Equipment, Physician,Staff and Patient) information. • Safety Huddle Service - The status of the connection between the RL6 application and the SafetyHuddles application.
• PolicyStat Service - The status of the connection between the RL6 application to the PolicyStat application. See PolicyStat Service Status
• Report Engine Service - The Report Engine Service processes reports saved in the Report Designer and the new Report Viewer.
• Form Service - The status of the Responsive Form service. If the displayed status is Service is up, this means that the service is installed and running. If the displayed status is Service is down, this means that the service is off or cannot be found.
• HL7 Listener Service - An optional component that listens on a specified port for incoming HL7 messages from your ADTAdmission, Discharge and Transfer data. system that is used to perform patient demographic lookups within the application. See HL7 Listener Service Status.
• Merge Task – Merge Task is a queue that leverages the alert service to update RL6 files/patients in the Patient Library. This displays the number of merge tasks that are pending. If tasks have been pending for an extended amount of time, check the ScheduleTrace.log for more information.
• LDAPLightweight Directory Access Protocol is an application protocol for accessing and maintaining distributed directory information services over an Internet Protocol (IP) network. LDAP is a type of external authentication that can be used by your organization to maintain your login and password. - The connection to the server that provides external user authentication. The Service Status Center will show the status for each LDAP configuration. Note: Only users with External User Login Configuration role function will be able to see the LDAP service status.
• FTP - If there are FTP connections configured for your system, the Service Status Center will show the name, URLThe Uniform Resource Locator (URL) is the address of an internet resource, such as a web page. It includes the protocol used to access the page, such as HTTP. A sample URL is http://www.rlsolutions.com. and status for each FTP connection. Note: You must have the FTP Configuration role property enabled in order to see the FTP connection status.

Note: When you open the Service Status Center page, you will notice a loading icon next to each service (i.e. where a checkmark normally appears) to indicate that the application is retrieving the status. While the Service Status Center page is open, the system will automatically refresh every 15 seconds to provide up-to-date service statuses.
