Assigning External Authentication

Assigning external authentication to a user allows that user to access RL6 using the credentials in your organization’s directory service. To allow users to be authenticated externally, or to review your external authentication settings, see Configuring External Authentication.

To assign external authentication to a user:

  1. On the Admin Center page, click the Users link in Security (not shown).
  2. Locate and select the user account you want to add external authentication privileges to and click Edit.
  3. Click Authenticate Externally.

  4. Select Federated from the drop-down list and click OK.

  5. Click Save.
