Snoozing an Alert

Snoozed alerts will suspend sending alert notifications until the “snooze until” date has been reached. For example, snoozing an alert until next January 1st means that you will not receive email or alert notifications associated with that alert for the remainder of the year. When the alert is triggered in the new year, you will begin receiving notifications again.

Prerequisites: You must have the 'In-System Alert Notifications' and 'Snooze' functions enabled for your role.

To snooze an alert:

  1. Go to the Alert Notification Management page (page 1).
  2. Locate the alert notification you would like to snooze.
  3. Check the box next to the alert notifications you would like to snooze.
  4. Note: Only one alert may be snoozed at a time (i.e. they can’t be batch-snoozed).
  5. Click Snooze. The Alert Snooze dialog box displays.
  6. Complete the Snooze Until field with the date you would like to begin receiving notifications again.
  7. Click OK (not shown). The result list is refreshed and the Is Snoozed column is updated to Yes.
  8. Tip: To unsnooze the alert, select the checkbox next to the alert and click the UnSnooze link.
