Adding Constraint Set Combinations

There are several ways to create your constraint set combinations: [1] adding each combination manually (below), [2] selecting combination from a dialog box or importing an Excel spreadsheet that contains your combinations. Once the constraint set has been defined, you must enable it in the appropriate submission and management forms, which is done with the Form Designer.

Prerequisite: You must have the 'Constraints' role function enabled.

  1. Access the Constraints page (Managing Constraints)and open the Constraint Set for which you would like to add combinations. If this is a new constraint set, click the Combinations tab.
  2. Click Add Row. The table expands, showing the constraint set fields and their drop-down lists.
  3. Select the appropriate combination from the lists.
  4. Click OK to save the combination. The entry area collapses and a new row is added to the list.
  5. Tip: Check the box next to a combination and click Delete to remove it from the combination list. Click Edit to modify the combination.
  6. Repeat steps two through four until all combinations have been entered and click Save.
  7. Tip: Add multiple combinations at once, using the Add Combination link or the Export / Import links (Adding Multiple Constraint Set Combinations).
