Searching for a Task

This option is for RL6:Risk, Feedback, Claims, RiskRegister, PeerReview and RootCause

To search for a specific task within a selected View:

  1. Go to the Task Management page (page 1).
  2. In the Views panel on the left, choose a task filter (e.g. Overdue TasksClosedA unit of work, such as a follow-up, review or request for information, which can be tied to a specific file.) from System Views or Personal Views.
  3. In the Search field, enter the search criteria. See the table below for detailed instructions.
  4. Click the Search icon.

The Views grid displays all tasks matching your entry within the view displayed.

Search Criteria

Description

Task ID

Enter the exact ID number of the task.

Priority

Enter the priority. For example, if you enter “high”, the system searches for all tasks that are marked as High priority.

File ID

(If applicable) Enter the exact File ID number of the file associated with the task.

User ID

To find all tasks assigned to or entered by a specific user, enter the exact user ID.

User Name

Enter the full name or a portion of a user name. The system searches for tasks assigned to or entered by users with names that match the search criteria.

Description

To search for tasks by description, enter a keyword (e.g. physician). This may contain any combination of alphanumeric values and the search is not case-sensitive.

Type

To find tasks of a specific Task Type, enter a portion of the Task Type name (e.g. follow-up). The system will display all tasks with Task Type containing your entry. The search is not case-sensitive.
