Deleting Tasks

If the task is no longer relevant or was created in error, you can delete the task. The Delete option is available to select users based on the roles assigned to your user profile and is grouped into three tiers: you may only be allowed to delete [1] the tasks assigned to you, [2] the tasks you created for someone else or [3] the tasks created for and by another user.

Prerequisites: You must have the 'Delete Assigned TasksClosedA unit of work, such as a follow-up, review or request for information, which can be tied to a specific file.' function enabled for your role to delete tasks assigned to you, 'Delete Created Tasks' to delete tasks created by you, and/or 'Delete Other Users' Tasks' to delete tasks created or assigned to other users.

To delete tasks:

  1. Open the Task Management page and locate the task(s) you would like to delete (page 1).
