Managing a Submitted Peer Review File

Once a file is submitted, it is available for the committee members to view and update the file.

Note: Only users with file manager or administrator licenses can update files.

You can use the management form tabs to do the following:

Prerequisites: You must have the 'File Info Center', 'View File', and 'Edit File' functions enabled for your role.

To open a peer review file:

  1. Go to the File Info Center and locate the Peer Review File.
  2. Note: You can also use the Search page to locate the file.

When the file opens, the first tab displayed is the Investigation Overview tab. Aside from the Investigation Status field, all other fields provide a read-only summary of the data for the file and work performed on the file. As the file is modified, the Investigation Overview tab will be automatically updated.

  3. (Optional) From the Investigation Status drop-down, choose an option to indicate the status of the investigation.
  4. Note: As the investigation progresses, you can update this field as needed.
  5. Navigate to any of the tabs provided to document information for the investigation and save the file for any changes you make.
