Viewing a Patient's File List

Prerequisites: You must have the 'Allow User to access Patient Center' function enabled for your role, and 'Allow file results beyond user's domain' to see search results out of your domain. To view a list of files belonging to a patient:

  1. Click on a patient card in the Patient Center (page 1).
  2. The patient's file list with the following information is displayed:
    1. Date Entered – Date the file was entered
    2. File Name – Name of the file. If you have access to the file, the name appears as a hyperlink. Click on the file name to open it.
    3. Module – Module in which the file belongs
    4. State – Current file state: Incomplete, New, In-Progress, Closed, Deleted, Deleted-Inc.
    5. File Owner – Name of user who currently owns the file, i.e. Current OwnerClosedThe user who is working on the file at this moment. They are taking the steps necessary to close the file. The Current Owner default to the person who created the file.. If you have role permissions to create a task (either a common or file-specific task), the file owner name appears as a hyperlink, which opens a task dialog. See Adding and Modifying Tasks.
    6. Summary – If you have access to view the current and/or original file summary, click the View link to open the summary in a new tab. If you do not have access to any of the available summaries, Not Available is displayed.
