Search Result 'More' Button Options

In the Search page, the More button options are used to perform actions on selected file or multiple files. The table below describes the actions taken and whether they can be taken on multiple files at once:

View Summary

Displays the Current Summary file in a new tab. See Viewing a File Summary.

Print Summary

Displays the Print Summary dialog (Printing a File Summary ) for the selected file. This dialog allows you to print the file. Prior to printing, you can hide sensitive fields or edit the summary.

Email Summary

N

Displays the Email Summary dialog (Emailing a File Summary) for the selected file. This dialog allows you to email a HTML version of the file. Prior to emailing, you can hide sensitive fields or edit the summary.

Download Summary

N

Displays the Download Summary dialog (Downloading a File Summary) for the selected file. This dialog allows you to download a HTML version of the file. Prior to download, you can hide sensitive fields or edit the summary.

Important

Y

Adds a flag to the selected file(s) to mark them as important to you. From the Simple Search, Basic Search or Advanced tabs of the Search Page, you can filter the results to include records that are marked as one of your important files. You may also mark the file as important from the File Properties dialog (File Properties).

Not Important

Y

Removes selected file(s) from your list of important files and the Important icon no longer appears for these files.

Confidential

Y

Adds a flag to the selected file(s) to mark them as confidential. For more information, see Making a File Confidential .

Public

Y

Removes the selected file(s) from your list of confidential file list and allows users who have the role permissions to access the file(s).

Add to Folder

Y

Displays the Add File to Folder dialog, which allows you to add the selected file(s) to a a new or existing folder. You can also add a file to a folder from the management form (Adding Files to a Folder) but the Search Results action links allow you to add multiple files to a folder at once (Adding Files to a Folder).

Change Owner

Y

Assigns a file owner to one or more selected files.

Change State

Y

Assigns a file state and status to one or more selected files (e.g. “In-Progress” state with an “Active” status).

File Properties

N

Displays the File Properties dialog for the selected file, which allows you to view general details and work with status, ownership and security settings (File Properties).

Close

Y

Closes the selected file(s) and prompts for a new file status.
