Printing a File Summary

There are different file summaries that can be viewed based on your role assignment. From the Summary dialog you can hide sensitive fields or modify the summary in all but the Original Summary. Once you have modified it, you can print the file summary.

You cannot print a file summary for incomplete files or for Peer Review files. Original Summaries are not available for files created using the Send To module. See Sending Data to Another Module.)

To print a file summary:

  1. In the File Info Center page, select the file and click Print. The Print dialog opens. (Alternatively, you can open a file and go to File Notifications > Summary > Print Custom Summary.)
  2. Fill in all the necessary fields (see table below).
  3. Note: Some of these fields may or may not be enabled according to the settings of your system parameters.
  4. Click the OK button. The file summary appears in HTML format in a separate browser tab and your browser’s print dialog is opened.
  5. Print the file summary.
  6. Note: If you need to print the file summary again, click the Print button on the top right corner to prompt the Print dialog to display.
  7. Close the file summary tab to return to the file.
