Managing Icon Wall Templates

Icon Wall Templates are made up of a configurable number of sets, rows and columns used to display the icons you have created and linked to submission forms (Updating Icon Wall Icons). When users are created, you assign them an Icon Wall template. Creating multiple templates provides a way for you to control the submission forms to which your users have access. Some users, for example, may only need access to one or two submission forms; to simplify their use of RL6, consider creating a template that only contains icons that are relevant to their job responsibilities.

Prerequisites: The 'Icon Wall Templates' role function must be enabled.

To work with icon wall templates:

1. Click the Logged in as menu and click Admin Center.
2. Under the Appearances and Personalization heading, click the Icon Wall Templates link (not shown).
3. Click New to create a new template (page 1).
4. Select a template to activate the following links:
   • Edit – to modify the icons used on the template (page 1).
   • Delete – to remove the template(s) from the database. You must click Yes to confirm the deletion.
   • Note: You may not delete templates that have been assigned to a user.
   • Properties – to view the template details and modify the Name and Description.
   • Copy – to create a template based on the selected one (page 1).
   • Assign – to assign the template to an RL6 user (page 1).
