Assigning Templates to Users

Icon wall templates can be assigned in two places: from the Settings tab of the User dialog or the templates page, as described below. Only users who have not been assigned a template are eligible for use in the procedure below.

Prerequisites: The 'Icon Wall Templates' role function must be enabled.

To assign an Icon Wall template to users:

1. Access the Icon Wall Templates page (page 1).
2. Select a template to assign to users.
3. Click the Assign button. The Assign Template dialog shows a list of all users.
4. If necessary, click one of the following links to filter the list of users:
   • Template Users – view users who are assigned to this template.
   • Non-Template Users – view users who are not assigned to this template.
   • All Users – the default view of users.
5. Type a value into the text box and click Search to further filter the list of users.
6. Tip: Click the Advanced Search button to locate users with the Select User dialog.
6. Check the box next to one or more users who currently do not have template assignments.
   • Click Assign. Then click Yes to confirm the assignment.
   • Click Unassign to remove the link between the selected user(s) and template.
7. Click Close to return to the template list.
