Description

More Actions

Click this button to reveal additional actions that can be taken on the file:

  • Save as Incomplete – saves the file in the state Incomplete and returns you to the File Info Center page or Icon Wall, depending on your profile setting. A confirmation message is displayed:

Locate your incomplete files using the Search Page (see Executing a Simple Search). These files may also appear in a View on the File Info Center page (see Navigating the File InfoCenter (page 1)), if configured by your administrator.

  • Import File – uses data from another RL6 module to populate data in the current file. Importing a file allows you to link the two files. See Importing a File.
  • Submit & Manage – submits the file and opens it in management mode (Managing a Submitted File) to allow you to continue working on it.
  • Submit & Copy – allows you to submit the file and create a new one with all the same details. If multiple events happened to the same patient, for example, use the submit and copy feature after fully documenting the first file and modify the appropriate fields for the subsequent files (Using a Submitted File as a Template).
  • Un-Delete – this option only appears when you are viewing an incomplete file that has been deleted. It returns the file to its state prior to being deleted. This action updates the file state from Deleted-Inc to Incomplete. You must confirm your decision to un-delete a file by clicking OK.
  • Save & Exit – this option only appears when you are viewing an incomplete, deleted file.

When logged in anonymously, the More Actions button does not appear. The Submit & Copy action appears as a button, next to the Submit and Delete buttons.

Submit

Once all required fields have been completed, use the Submit button to report the file or provide feedback to the file managers (Submitting the File). A confirmation message appears and the status of the file is updated to New:

The user is taken to the File Info Center or the Icon Wall.

Delete

Cancels the creation of a new file. When the file has the state Incomplete, however, the state is updated to Deleted-Inc. You must confirm your decision to delete the file by clicking Yes.

Exit

Returns you to the page from which the file was accessed (e.g., the File Info Center or Search Page) without saving your changes.
