Sorting Alerts in Your Personal View

When you create or modify a personal view in the Alert Notification Management page, you can determine how alerts should be sorted in alphanumeric order. In the Columns tab. The Columns & Order section (see example) shows all the columns in the order that they are displayed. For the Alert Notification Management page, the column order is fixed. In the Sort Order & Priority section, Notification Date is the column by which data is sorted in descending order, by default. This means that, in the Views grid, the latest notification date will appear at the top of the list while the one with the earliest due date is displayed at the bottom of the list. If, for example, you wanted to add Notification ID as a secondary sort in ascending order (i.e. A to Z), alerts would first be sorted by notification date. Where there are multiple alerts with the same date, the alerts would be grouped together in ID number order.

Prerequisites: You must have the 'In-System Alert Notifications' and 'Search' functions enabled for your role.
