Searching for Audit Log Events

The audit logs are accessed through the Admin Home page. When possible, you should create a very specific search because the audit log contains a lot of information. The more filters you add, the quicker the results are returned.

To search for audit log events:

1. Click the Logged in as menu and click Admin Center.
2. Under the Security heading, click the System Audit Log or File Audit Log link (not shown). The Audit Log page appears.
3. Complete one or more fields in the Audit Log Search section (Audit Log Search Fields). Click the magnifying glass icon for the following fields:
   1. User – this field will search users and user groups.
   2. File – see Searching for Files in the File Search Dialog (page 1) for details.
4. Click the Search button. The results are displayed below (Audit Log Search Result Functions).
5. Click the [+] next to an event to view the details.
