Receiving and Completing Actions

When a committee member assigns you (the provider) an action (e.g., to attend a meeting, to provide information), you will receive an email notification about the action.

Prerequisites: You must have the 'View File' and 'Edit File' functions enabled for your role.

To receive and complete actions:

  1. Open the file. In the Persons Involved tab, expand the ProviderClosedIn RL6:PeerReview, this term refers to any user who is being reviewed in a Peer Review investigation. Actions section to view all actions created for you.
  2. Select the action and click Modify. The Provider Action Items dialog displays all the details of the action.
  3. If the action is completed, check the Completed box.
  4. In the Provider Comments field, enter additional comments.
  5. Click Send Update to save and send a notification to the committee member assigned to the file or click Save to save without sending notification.

The action is updated to show that it has been completed (i.e., Completed column displays "True").
