Acknowledging Peer Review Notifications

When you, the provider, have received an email notification for a peer review investigation, you can click on the email link provided to log into the RL system to view details of the file and send acknowledgment within the application.

Note: If you do not acknowledge a notification, you may continue to receive reminder and overdue email notifications.

Prerequisites: You must have the 'File Info Center', 'View File', and 'Edit File' functions enabled for your role.

To acknowledge a notification:

  1. In the File Info Center or Search page, locate and open the file. The file displays two tabs: Persons Involved and Review/Analysis.
  2. In the Persons Involved tab, expand the Notification section to review the details of the notification.
  3. (Optional) In the Comments field, enter a comment.
  4. Click Acknowledge.

When the provider acknowledges the Peer Review notification, the status is updated to display "Acknowledged" along with the date it is acknowledged.
