Generating an Existing Report

RL6:Infection comes with a set of preconfigured reports that can be used with little or no customization. In addition, members of your organization may create their own public reports that can be used by anyone with access to the Report Center. As you generate reports, the contents of the My Recently Run Reports tab changes (reports are added or rearranged by the last run date and time). Once the report has been generated, you can use the Navigation links to return to the list of reports or modify the report.

To generate an existing report:

  1. Click the Report Center button and locate the report you would like to generate. In this example, a report from the My Favorite Reports tab will be generated.
  2. Enter the Start and End dates that you would like to use as parameters for the report. The values used the last time a report was generated from the same computer appear by default.
  3. Note: The date range selected can impact the amount of time required to generate the report. Generating a report for an entire year’s worth of data, for example, will take longer than just one month’s worth.
  4. Check the box next to the report you would like to generate.
  5. Click the Run link.
  6. If multiple reports were selected, the Report Order dialog box opens. Drag and drop the reports in the order you want them to appear and click OK.
  7. The loading icon appears while the data is collected for the report. When finished, the report displays below the navigation links.
  8. See the following topics for more details:
