Searching for Emails

To search for specific emails sent out from the system in the Email Troubleshooting page:

  1. In the Email Troubleshooting page, use one or more of the following search fields. See Search Fields for Email Troubleshooting page. The system will display search results based on the criteria entered.

  2. (Optional) Click on the subject link of an email to see the full message details.

  3. Click Clear Filters to clear search fields and restore the default settings.

Search Field

Description

Date Range

Enter a date in the from/to date fields provided according to the format displayed (e.g. MM-DD-YYYY) or select a date from the calendar tool provided to specify a date range within which emails are sent.

Sender

Type in a keyword to search for all emails with sender addresses containing your entry.

Destination

Type in a keyword to search for all email recipient addresses containing your entry.

Subject

Type in a keyword to search for emails with subject fields containing your entry.

Body

Type in a keyword to search for emails with body messages containing your entry.

Status

Allows you to choose a delivery status:

  • All - displays emails of every status

  • Pending - displays emails that are in the queue.

  • Reply - displays emails that could not be delivered. This status is active while system is trying to send a notification to the original sender.

  • Sent- displays emails that were sent successfully.

  • Failed - displays emails that failed to be delivered.

  • Blocked - (for Cloud users only) displays emails with an email address or domain that is flagged by the Cloud suppression service as an invalid delivery target. When this happens, the email service stops trying to deliver the email and marks it as "blocked".

Sender Type

This drop-down menu lists all functional areas of the RL6 application that generates emails. From this list, you can choose a sender type (e.g., TasksClosedA unit of work, such as a follow-up, review or request for information, which can be tied to a specific file. - Reminder) from drop-down list. By default, All sender types are displayed.

Note: Some sender types are module specific (e.g., Safety Huddles - Summary).The system will not result results for a module-specific sender type for which you do not have an administrator license.

Module

Displays modules for which you have an administrator license to allow you to select emails related to a specific module. By default, All is selected.

Note: For RL6:PeerReview, you must also have the "Email Troubleshooting - Peer Review” role function in addition to an administrator license.
