Measures

Measures are real-time results of calculated functions that can be displayed on Safety Huddle submission forms. These provide an easy way to highlight values of interest, such as Number of falls in the last 24 hours or Number of days since a needle stick injury, and offer insight into a specific initiative or goal. The system includes out-of-the-box measures but you can also create custom measures.

Note: To access this page, the 'Manage Measures' function must be enabled for your role.

The following actions are available on the Measures page:

  1. Access the Admin Center.
  2. Under the Reports, Dashboards and Measures section, click Measures (not shown). The Measures page is displayed.
  3. Use the following buttons to perform actions:
    • New – create a new measure.
    • Edit – open the editor to modify the selected measure.
    • Copy – make a duplicate of the selected measure and open the editor.
    • Delete – delete the selected measure(s).
  4. Click a module from the drop-down list to view existing measures pertaining to fields in that module.
  5. Click Exit to return to the Admin Center.
