File Actions Toolbar

The File Actions toolbar above the file list are used to perform actions on the file or multiple files. The table below describes the actions taken and whether they can be taken on multiple files at once:

Summary

Displays the Current Summary dialog (Printing a File Summary ) for the selected file. Important

Y

Adds a flag to the selected file(s) to mark them as important to you. From the Simple Search, Basic Search or Advanced tabs of the Search Page, you can filter the results to include records that are marked as one of your important files. You may also mark the file as important from the File Properties dialog (File Properties). Click the More button to display this option if a single file is selected.

Confidential

Y

Adds a flag to the selected file(s) to mark them as confidential. See Making a File Confidential . Click the More button to display this option if a single file is selected.

Add to Folder

Y

Opens the Add file to folder dialog. Click the More button to display this option if a single file is selected.

Change Owner

Y

Opens the Change Ownership dialog.

Change State

Y

Opens the Change File State dialog.

Properties

Displays the File Properties dialog for the selected file, which allows you to view general details and work with status, ownership and security settings (File Properties).

Close

Y

Changes the state of the selected file(s) to Closed.

Delete

Y

Changes the state of the selected file(s) to Deleted or Deleted-Inc. You must confirm your decision to delete the file by clicking Yes and then choosing a File Status (Changing the File Status).
