Populating Party Involved Libraries

Four libraries are accessed through the Parties Involved section of the form. The user clicks the magnifying glass icon to search for the physicians, employees, legal counsels or experts that have been defined by an RL6 administrator. When a physician is selected from a library, for example, all of his or her attributes are added to the form. If the record cannot be located, the user must manually input the details.

Prerequisites: The 'Physician LookupClosedA field that is used to locate records in the RL6 database, such as a location, patient name or a valid entry for the field. A lookup field is typically identified with a magnifying glass icon.' role function must be enabled and a product license is required.

To populate party-involved libraries:

  1. Physicians (Physician Library) – select Physician from the Person Type list to display the magnifying glass that is used to search the physician library.
  2. Employees (Creating a New Employee Record ) – select Employee from the Person Type list to display the magnifying glass that is used to search the employee library.
  3. Legal Counsels (Legal Counsel Library) – when filtering the Parties Involved grid by an individual, the Legal Counsels grid is shown. Click Add to open the Legal Counsels dialog and then the magnifying glass icon to access the associated library.
  4. Experts (Expert Library) – when filtering the Parties Involved grid by an individual, the Expert Reviews grid is shown. Click Add to open the Expert Reviews dialog and then the magnifying glass icon to access the associated library.
