Managing Bookmarks

Bookmarks give users easy access to online resources such as URLClosedThe Uniform Resource Locator (URL) is the address of an internet resource, such as a web page. It includes the protocol used to access the page, such as HTTP. A sample URL is http://www.rlsolutions.com. links to processes, governance, checklists, articles, etc. You can access or add bookmarks from the Bookmarks drop-down menu.

Prerequisites: You must have the 'Bookmarks' function enabled for your role.

To add bookmarks:

  1. From the Bookmarks drop-down menu, click the + button to create a new bookmark.
  2. In the New Bookmark dialog, type the name of the link as it should appear to the user in the Caption field.
  3. Enter the Bookmark URL. Be sure to include the protocol such as https://
  4. Click Save.
  5. You can edit or delete a bookmark by clicking the corresponding icon beside each bookmark name.
