Contact Tracing

The Contact Tracing page allows you to see which patients may have been exposed to an organism, disease or infection by analyzing the hospital’s ADTClosedAdmission, Discharge and Transfer data. information. There are two types of contact tracing: patient and location. The Patient Contact Tracing page is accessed from the Patient menu and allows you to enter search criteria to find out who has come in contact with the patient in question. The Location Contact Tracing page is accessed from the Outbreak Management tile from the Info Center page through clicking the "particular location" link in the description. This page allows you to enter search criteria to find all the patients who have come in contact with each other during a specific time frame and at a specific location. You may then create surveillance files for multiple patients in just a few short steps (Contact Tracing Results).
