Creating Views in View Management

You can create Personal or System Views from the View Management screen. You can also manage those Views that have been converted as a result of the update from RL6 versions prior to 6.6.3.

Prerequisites: The 'Administer Views' role function must be enabled.

To create views in View Management:

  1. In the Admin Center, go to the Appearances and Personalization section and click View Management. The View Management page is displayed.
  2. Choose an option from the Entity drop-down (e.g. File).
  3. Click New. The Properties dialog is displayed.
  4. In the Settings tab, select:
    1. Module (e.g. Risk)
    2. Caption - enter a name for the view using alphanumeric characters.
    3. Note: The Caption field can be a maximum of 50 characters.
    4. Page Size - choose an option to determine the maximum number of records to be displayed in the View. By default, the first element in the list of the PAGESIZE_OPTIONS general system parameter is displayed.
  5. Go to the other tabs to determine filter, column and assignment properties for the view.
  6. Click Save when you have defined all property settings.
