Allows the user to access Folders within RL6 and displays information in the Folder widget when a file is opened in management mode. The link to More Folders in the Folder widget is enabled and all folder related functions are enabled (see below).

Allows users to create new folders. It has no effect on the ability to create a folder through the Submit & Copy function at Entry time. Users can always do that regardless of the setting of this function. The Add this file to a New Folder option is available on the Add File to Folder dialog, which is accessed by going full-screen from the Folder widget or adding the file to a folder. In addition, the New Folder link on the Folder Search Results area is enabled.

Allows a user to mark a folder for deletion. The Delete link in the Search Results section of the Search Folder page is enabled.

Allows a user to search for folders by enabling the Folders tab on the Search page. In addition, the Search Now and Clear Criteria buttons on the Folder Tab in the Search page are enabled. From the Folder widget’s Full Screen mode, the Go to Folder Management link is active.

The Search for an Existing Folder to add this file to option on the Add File to Folder dialog(reached by trying to add the current open file to a folder) is enabled.

Note: it is only possible to get to this pop-up if the Add FilesThe electronic record created when a user submits an incident report, such as a fall or medication error, or when a patient provides feedback. Some organizations refer to files as events, reports, or cases. to Folders function is checked.

Allows the user to work with saved searches for folders by enabling the Save Searches button on the Folders tab of the Search page. In addition, the Search Now, Load and Delete links on the Saved Searches tab in the Search panel are enabled when a saved folder search is selected.

Allows the user to see the contents of a folder. It does not control whether a user can see a folder – just the contents. The [+] sign seen in the Search Results section of the folder Search page and full screen mode of the Folders widget is enabled. For RL6:Infection, the folder of File dialogis enabled.

Allows a user to remove files from folders. User must be able to view folder contents in order to perform this function. The Remove File link, whenever the content of a folder is displayed, is enabled. For RL6:Infection, the Remove Current Files link is enabled in the Folder of File dialog.

Allows a user to edit a folder's properties. For RL6:Risk / Feedback / Claims, the Properties link in the Search Results section and in the full screen view of the Folders widget are enabled.

For RL6:Infection, the Folder Properties link in the Folder of File dialog is enabled.

Allows a user to view In-system Alert Notifications by enabling the Alert navigation icon. In addition, several other alert features are enabled:

• The Alerts file management form panel item.
• The Open, Acknowledge and Show Acknowledged links from the Alert Notifications page.
• The View Notifications and View Emails links from the Alert Management page.
• The Acknowledge button at the bottom of the Notification Details dialog.

Allows a user to search for an In-system Alert Notification by enabling the Search link on Alert Notification page and full screen view of the Alerts file management form panel item

Allows Users to snooze or unsnooze an Alert from an In-system Notification by enabling the Snooze and Unsnooze links

Allows a user to see other users' In-system Alert Notifications from the Alert Notifications page, full screen view of the Alerts file management form panel item and the Search page

Allows users to view emailed Alert Notifications by activating the View Emails link from the Alert Management page. The Open and Show All links on the Email Notifications page are also enabled.

Allows users to search for an emailed Alert Notification by activating the Search link on the Email Notifications page

Allows a user to see other users' emailed Alert Notifications – no matter the recipient – from the Alert Management page

Allows the user to create tasks that are not associated to a file

Allows users to access the Report Center by clicking the Report Center navigation icon. In RL6:Infection, this is used in combination with the View/Run Reports function.

Allows the display of public folders in Report Center. When checked, users be able to see all public report folders.

When this option is checked, the user can save reports to public folders. When unchecked, they are able to save only to their private folders.

Allows users to create, rename and delete public folders in Report Manager. The role function, "View Public Report Folders", would be needed to use this role function.

Allows users to access the Denominators tab in the Report Center.

Allows user to view and run Common (not module-specific) reports (e.g. from the Common module option in the Question Wizard).

Enables the ability to view reports in other users’ ‘My Reports’ folder (i.e., other users’ private reports).

Allows user to save reports in other users' private folders.

Note: in addition to this role permission, you must also have the module role permission: "Save Reports" for the report (i.e. if you save a Risk report, you must have the Save Reports permission for the Risk module).

Allows users to access the search function by clicking the Search icon in the navigation bar.

With Search selected, the administrator may add or remove the other search functions, described below.

Enables the Save button on the Search page. In addition, the Delete button under the Saved Searches section is enabled when a simple saved search is selected.

Enables the Patient Center icon on the navigation toolbar. This allows users to access the Patient Center page

Allows users to search for any user in the application, for purposes such as assigning tasks. If this is not selected, users can only search for users that belong to their own user group.

Enables the Audit Log link that appears under the Security heading on the Admin Center page; the user will be able to see system-level audit log entries. The user may search the audit log and Email, Export or Print the search results.

Enables the File Locks link that appears under the Security heading on the Admin Center page. The user may Open a file lock to view the details or Delete it to make the file accessible to other users.

Enables the Licenses link that appears under the Security heading on the Admin Center page. The user may view existing licenses or browse their file system to upload a new license file.

Enables the User Groups link that appears under the Security heading on the Admin Center page. When this is not enabled, the user does not have access to the User Groups Administration page.

When the user clicks the pencil icon on the Users page the User dialog is displayed. When Edit Roles is enabled, the values in this dialog are editable. Otherwise the user may only view the user details.

Each row in the file represents a record. When opened in Microsoft Excel®, each value appears in its own cell; when opened in Notepad®, however, the record’s values are separated by commas. file

Enables the View Management link that appears under the Appearances and Personalization heading on the Admin Center page. This page allows Administrators to manage all user- or role-based views for any module or entity (i.e. files, tasks, alerts).

Enables the Report Manager Admin Picks link that appears under the Reports heading on the Admin Center page. The user may click the link to access the Report Manager Admin Picks page where Admin Picks sets are created, edited or deleted.
