Transaction Types

A transaction type must be selected when adding a transaction to a claim file. It can be used in formulas (Managing FormulasManaging Formulas) to compute totals for reports or for viewing in the transactions grid.

The following functions are available on the Transaction Types:

  1. In the Admin Center page, go to Library and click the Transaction Types link. The Transaction Types page displays.
  2. To search, enter the complete or partial transaction type name or ID in the Search field and click the Search button. The system displays all transaction types matching your entry. (Click Reset to return to the full list.)
  3. Click New to add another transaction type to the list (page 1).
  4. Click Edit to view or edit a transaction type (page 1).
  5. Click Delete to delete a transaction type (page 1).
  6. Use the Replace button if you would like to change the type selection for every file.
  7. Caution! The Replace feature is generally used when files have been imported from another system and need to be standardized.
  8. Click Export to export transaction types displayed in the list to an excel file (page 1).
  9. Click Import to import transaction type records into RL6 from an excel file (page 1).
  10. Sort by ID - click on this column heading to sort records by Transaction ID in ascending or descending order
