Policy Tier Fields

The table below describes the fields used to define a policy tier. In addition to these values, the following rules apply:

  • You should not define more than one SIR or Uninsured Tier per Policy Year.
  • Tiers appear in the following order: SIR, Excess then Uninsured
  • Multiple Excess Tiers are alphabetically arranged.
  • Tiers (and their associated policies) can be dragged and dropped within and between Policy Years.

Tier Type

The type of tier:

SIR (self insurance retention)

Excess – insurance covered by captive or other carriers.

Uninsured – used to display the uninsured excess from previous years in a tower.

Tier Height ($M)

Y

The dollar amount, in millions, for the tier. This value is based on the sum of the aggregate limits of all policies within the highlighted tier.

Tier Width ($M)

Lower Bound ($M)

Upper Bound ($M)

This field is automatically computed.

User 1, 2, 3 and 4
